Have you received a security alert from Apple?
If you have an iPhone that you have recently received a message from Apple to take security-enhancing measures, you need to report the incident according to the applicable procedures for reporting incidents.
During week 16, Apple announced to users in 92 countries that many people had a spy tool (so-called "mercenary spyware") installed on their phones without knowing it. These tools work in secret, including gathering information and mapping the user. Even your private phone can be a stepping stone to the authority's information.
The notification from Apple was sent directly to the user through an iMessage (apple text message), email to the user's registered Apple ID address and on the login page to the user's iCloud account. The information contains, among other things, Apple's recommendations for security-enhancing measures, such as updating the device, 2-factor identification and activating locked mode, etc.
Since no notification has been sent to the user's organization, it is important that all victims report this to IT Services, who can take appropriate protective measures. This applies to both your private mobile and your company mobile.
It has taken time to verify the underlying intelligence information and its authenticity, hence the fact that the information is only now being released.
