Warning - malicious email

You might receive e-mail that appears to come from IT HELPDESK, be aware that the email has a sender address that is not '@ fhs.se'. Do not follow instructions or click on links in these emails. Helpdesk never asks for your password or asks you to fill in a form (on websites outside SEDU) where you must enter it.

As this type of email is impossible to completely prevent, there is always a risk that they will reach your inbox.

If you have accidentally clicked on a link, or followed any other instructions in such an email, we want you to inform the Helpdesk about this, to see what can be done. For example. you may need to change your password (if you sent it) or we may need to check if your computer has any malicious code installed.
