Mobile-based alarm app will increase security at the university

The Swedish Defence University has procured a mobile-based alarm and command and control app that provides the opportunity to quickly alert and act in the event of serious incidents. We will send out activation codes during January 2024. The app enables all students to receive alerts.

The purpose of the app is to increase safety and security at the university. The app makes it possible for everyone to raise the alarm if something serious happens. The security manager, security guards and a few other functions at the university have the opportunity to communicate and give instructions via the app. During the autumn, these functions have been trained in and tested in the app. The university's crisis management team, including the university management, has also carried out the first of several exercises with the support of the alarm app.

In the spring of 2024, training in Cosafe for employees will begin. Information is posted on My FHS.
