Language Centre hosted NATO Terminology Conference

The Language Centre at the Swedish Defence University hosted the NATO terminology conference BILC with over 50 participants from 25 different countries around the world on 9-11 April.

Among the participants were also employees in four different parts of NATO: NATO Standardization Office, NATO Mission Iraq, NATO Joint Warfare Centre, NATO SHAPE.

During the conference, presentations and workshops addressed pertinent topics on the use and instruction of common military terminology. These topics are all the more relevant and urgent today given Sweden's entry into NATO.
