Engelsk beskrivning om dig själv: I take a broad interest in the history of international relations, especially during the Cold War and with a particular focus on diplomacy and foreign and security policy.

PhD in history in 2012 (Stockholm University). Promoted to Docent/Associate Professor in 2016 (Stockholm University). Admitted to RJ's postdoctoral cutting-edge research programme Pro Futura Scientia XI in 2016 (Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study in Uppsala, SCAS). Elected member to The Young Academy of Sweden in 2017. Promoted to Professor of History and appointed Director of the Hans Blix Centre for the History of International Relations at Stockholm University in 2020. Visiting Professor at the Department of Military History at the Swedish Defence University since 2024.

I have had visiting stints to the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva (2010-11), the University of Oxford (2011-12), Harvard University (2016-17) and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (2020-21).
