​The library's teaching in scholarly information retrieval

The library conducts tuition for students at first and second cycle levels. Teachers are welcome to contact us to plan collaboration on information retrieval as a feature of a course or programme.

The library offers teaching sessions to increase the skills of students in effectively searching for, critically evaluating and managing and organising academic information. We have a basic educational approach based on learning in which the students are active. The goal is that the student develops a reflective and analytical approach to information, searching for information and information sources and can follow the development of knowledge within his or her future professional role.

The teaching sessions are planned in close collaboration with the course coordinator and the content of the teaching may vary based on the needs of the relevant knowledge area and subject teaching.
