Registration

Registration is compulsory, and is required in order for you to keep your place, and to ensure that your studies can be documented. Registration for autumn semester 2025 is open August 18-24 or October 20-26, depending on when the course starts.

It is the registration that allows you, for example, to apply for student funds, apply for a degree certificate, and apply for student accommodation.

A students register is kept in the study documentation system Ladok.

Re-registration after non-completion

If you wish to continue on a course or programme that you have previously registered for however, have not completed, you need to apply for re-registration. This pertains to, for example, as mentioned above after non-completion of a course or programme..

To apply for re-registration, contact the course or programme administrator at the relevant department. Re-registration is subject to space and resources.

Continuation of studies after approved study leave

You do not need to apply for re-registration after approved leave from studies. Instead you apply for continuation of studies after approved leave from studies.
