The Delegation for Military History Research

DMF is a national research council whose mission is to promote and support military history research.

The delegation was established following a parliamentary decision in March 1962. The main areas of responsibility for the delegation are:

To award grants for research and other related activities.
To comprehensively and transparently review the requests for research grants submitted to the Delegation and evaluate the research for which the Delegation has awarded grants.
To promote the publication of scientific results.
